This project is taking off with a bang! I am so excited. I have had very generous donations made that have just swelled my heart. The scarves are starting to come in and all of this is becoming a wonderful reality.
I am meeting with some of the folks with First Coast News in hopes that we can make more people aware of this project. The more people involved, the better The Jessica Project will turn out.
I am lucky enough to have some amazing friends, both locally and across the nation who are working to set up drives and collect donations. For that, I am very thankful. I have spoken with the American Cancer Society to set up distribution of the scarves. I will also be meeting with Wolfson's Children's Hospital (where Jessica stayed when she was sick) in hopes of becoming a staple in their new patient arrivals. My dream is that this scarf drive will grow so drastically that we will not only furnish the local cancer wards with scarves, but also those outside of our area.
If you are reading this blog, I truly thank you. Please, no matter how small the donation or how few scarves you have, anything helps!
Thanks so much!
Brittney
